Welcome to our classroom website!  Here you will find information about important dates, upcoming events, the skills students are working on and the homework assignments.  This website will be updated when a new Reading Unit is started or as needed for additional homework assignments.

Math

 

Science and Social Studies

Science Unit 1 August/September (about 5 weeks)- Students will be learning about hear energy.  They should be able to explain the different types; suhnlight, friction, and burning, and identify the different tools used to measure heat such as a thermometer (both Fahrenheit and Celsius).

 

Homework

Students should be reading 20 minutes daily and recording what they have read daily in their reading logs.  Each month students will be asked to complete a book report as well.

It is also very important for students to practice math facts every day as well.
